When a dictation is made, the dictating user can select a priority for this dictation. The priority can be used to signal to the transcriber the importance of the dictation and may be used to sort the order of dictations in the inbox.
The system comes with a few default priorities defined. The administrator can edit these or create additional priorities on the 'Setup' page. Apart from defining a new name for each priority, a ranking number must be defined. It is the ranking number that is used when sorting dictations in the Inbox in priority order. The lower the number, the higher priority. A colour must also be chosen for each priority. There is no limit to the number of Priorities that can be defined.
